Fitness company wants Million Mile Moms

StrollerFit, a mom and baby fitness company, has partnered with Strollometer to create Million Mile Moms — mothers who will model a fit lifestyle for their infants and toddlers by logging a million miles walking, running and working out with their strollers.

The Million Mile Moms program is running through July 15 in more than 250 StrollerFit classes nationwide, including those at Government Springs Park and Oakwood Mall in Enid.

“It’s not too late to join us in our local efforts to bring awareness to the importance of family fitness,” said Christy Northcutt, Enid StrollerFit franchise owner and instructor.

Moms will track their mileage throughout their StrollerFit class and all other stroller outings and log them into a form on the StrollerFit Web site. All participants will be entered into drawings for prizes from Great Expectations and Bellybar. StrollerFit owners and instructors also will present information on the prevention of childhood obesity during classes throughout the month.
