Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Quillin will celebrate their 72nd anniversary with an open house for family and friends 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, in the Oak Room at Golden Oaks Village. Cards may be sent to 5801 N. Oakwood, Apt. B106, Enid, OK 73703.
Cleo Quillin and Barbara Heizer were married Feb. 16, 1941, at North Star Church in Grant County.
Leo was branch manger for Clyde Co-op for 18 years, retiring in 1979, when he went to work as a fieldman. He also served as mayor of Lamont for 10 years, while farming wheat. He is a member of Lions Club.
Barbara is a farmer’s wife and homemaker.
They are members of Lamont Methodist Church.
They have two sons, David Quillin of Blackwell and the late Duane Quillin, and one foster son, Charles McIneil of Kansas. They have three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
