ENID, Okla. — Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hubbs will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception for family and friends at the 5 p.m. mass on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Cards may be sent to 809 W. Wabash Ave., Enid, OK 73701-7235.

Kenneth Hubbs and Linda Ann Johnson were married March 14, 1964, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Pocatello, Idaho.

Kenneth worked at various golf courses in the Salt Lake City area.

In 1969, they moved to Yukon, Okla., where Kenneth went to work for First National Bank of Oklahoma City. He left there after a 25-year career in data processing.

The couple then moved to Enid, where Kenneth worked various positions at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. He then spent 12 years in the Bass Pharmacy, retiring in 2011. He also is a member of the board of directors for the Enid Community Free Clinic.

Linda worked at Oklahoma Allergy Clinic from 1970 to 1975. She then was a homemaker until 1997, when she went to work for Pearson’s Natural Food Center, retiring in 2001. She is a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters, Altar Society and other church organizations.

Both attend St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where Ken is a member of the Knights of Columbus and serves on several church committees.

Both volunteer at Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen on Wednesdays.

Their children are Cynthia Lee Matal and husband Doug, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Aaron Wayne Hubbs and wife Megan, Portland, Ore.; and Damon Wade Hubbs and wife Nikii, Del City. They have six grandchildren.
