Mr. and Mrs. Gene Lash will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a come-and-go reception for family and friends 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church, Moore. Cards may be sent to 1001 Queensboro Place, Yukon, OK 73099.
Gene Lash wed Alice Martha Copeland July 17, 1946, at Jefferson Methodist Church.
He is a retired vocational agriculture teacher who taught 25 years in Oklahoma. He also was a Oklahoma State University animal research specialist in Ft. Reno. She is retired from teaching at Salt Fork and Crescent. She started the Secondary Learning Disabilities Program in Yukon Public Schools. They still own a farm in Medford.
They are members at First Christian Church, Moore, and are national officers in Purple Heart Association.
Their children are Charlotte Dunn, Weatherford; Denise and Dennis Reiswig, Brazoria, Texas; Deborah and Gary Maxon and Tedd and Judy Lash, all of Moore; and Gina and Joseph Hirt, Pasadena, Calif. They have 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
