Ringwood students place at Tulsa fair

ENID, Okla. — Ringwood 4-H and FFA members had a competitive Tulsa State Fair.

Results included:

• Braden Hill, reserve Hereford steer, reserve Limousine steer and sale maker.

• Abi Anderson, third overall speckle and sale maker.

• Lexi Anderson, second in natural hamb class and sale maker.

Ringwood opening and closing ceremony participants kicked off the season with two teams going to the Woodward, Fairview, P.I. and the state contest in Stillwater.

Team 1 at Woodward received first place in room one. Team 1 consisted of Payton Koehn, Abi Anderson, Rylee Detrick, Loren Decker, Shaylee Rhodes and Ally Watkins.

Team 2 placed second in room two. Team 2 consisted of Macy Swart, Brylee Burnett, Lane Mason, Joshua Frable, Hailey Hiebert and Taylor Detrick.

At Fairview, Team 1 placed third. The team was Rylee Detrick, Ryli Powell, Joshua Frable, Shaylee Rhodes, Abi Anderson and Samantha Ellington.

Ringwood got to host the P.I. contest. Team 1 won overall. That team consisted of Rylee Detrick, Ryli Powell, Abi Anderson, Shaylee Rhodes, Loren Decker and Ally Watkins.

Team 2 placed fifth and was made up of Payton Koehn, Brylee Burnett, Brooke Burnett, Taylor Detrick, Macy Swart and Samantha Ellington.

Since Team 1 placed first at the P.I. contest, members got to move on to the state contest at Stillwater. Team 1 received fourth place in the whole state out of 24 teams. This team was made up of Rylee Detrick, Ryli Powell, Abi Anderson, Shaylee Rhodes, Loren Decker and Ally Watkins.
