Waukomis FFA members selling Blue and Gold to raise funds

ENID, Okla. — Waukomis FFA members are selling Blue and Gold products.

These products include sausage for $6, bacon for $14 and chicken for $18. Contact any Waukomis FFA member to purchase.

In July, Waukomis FFA had six people attend the third session of Alumni Camp. Those attending were Brittany Bingham, Ryan Coontz, Kysha Eck, Makayla Slagle, Makenzie Metcalfe and Noah Ynclan. In early August, Waukomis FFA officers had their annual retreat. At the retreat, Lawson Thompson, Northwest District vice president, helped the officers set goals for the chapter. The 2013-14 Waukomis officer team is Brittany Bingham, president; Ryan Coontz, vice president; Kysha Eck, treasurer; Makayla Slagle, secretary; Makenzie Metcalfe, reporter; and Coulten Cue, sentinel.

At the Sooner Celebration Stock Show and Garfield County Stock Show, Waukomis had numerous students show livestock and enter horticulture exhibits. Waukomis had four students show cattle, 15 students show hogs, five students show goats and one student show a lamb.
