Waukomis FFA’ers are busy; Coontz shows steer at Oklahoma State Fair

ENID, Okla. — Waukomis FFA members have participated in many activities over the past month.

Members sold more than $30,000 worth of Blue and Gold products in just more than two weeks.

One representative of the chapter participated in showing livestock at the Oklahoma State Fair. Ryan Coontz had champion Limousin prospect steer. Garret Sharp, a former member of the chapter, exhibited the reserve champion Shorthorn market steer at the Tulsa State Fair. He will attend the American Royal Stock Show in Kansas City, Mo., later this month.

Two representatives of the chapter participated Oct. 9 in a Greenhand quiz contest at Timberlake. MaKayla Slage was the overall winner. Coulten Cue also participated. Members will attend the Enid PI contest Nov. 1 in Garber.
