Garber FFA members exhibited livestock Sept. 7-9 at the Garfield County Fair Livestock Show.
HEIFERS — Kaley Semrad, Class 1 (Hereford), second place and reserve breed champion; Brooke Wessels, Class 1 (Chi), first place, breed champion and supreme heifer, Class 2 (Chi), first place; Jarred Strate, Class 1 (Angus), first place, breed champion and reserve supreme heifer, Class 1 (Chi), second and reserve breed champion, Class 1 (AOB), first and breed champion; Madison Deeds, Class 2 (AOB), second place, Class 1 (Commercial), first and reserve breed champion.
SHEEP — Tyler Schnaithman, Class 3 (Hamp), first place and breed champion, Class 2 (Cross), first place, reserve breed champion and reserve grand champion; Kellan Hostetler, Class 1 (Cross), second place.
WETHER GOATS — Braden Schovanec, Class 4, second place; Garret Heinrich, Class 7, first place; Halie Schovanec, Class 4, first place, division champion and grand champion wether.
DOE GOATS — Cheyenne Sumner, Class 2, second place; Kami Oller, Class 8, first place, Class 9, first place, division champion, and grand champion doe, Class 12, first place, division champion, and reserve grand champion doe; Katie Allen, Class 4, first place, Class 6, third place; Layton Heitfeld, Class 3, first place and division champion, Class 4, third place; Kaden Love, Class 7, second place; Sierra Sumner, Class 4, fifth place, Class 9, fourth place.
MARKET HOGS — Jessica Cinnamon, Class 3 (Cross), third place; Braden Alwert, Class 3 (Yorkshire), first place.
GILTS — Emilee Hughes, Class 1 (Cross), second place; Tyler Hatch, Class 2 (Berkshire), third place; Jessica Cinnamon, Class 3 (Spot), third place; Madison Deeds, Class 3 (Duroc), first place and reserve breed champion; Braden Alwert, Class 1 (Duroc), third place.
SHOWMANSHIP — Tyler Schnaithman, senior lamb showmanship; Kami Oller, senior goat showmanship; Garret Heinrich, intermediate goat showmanship.
FFA members who exhibited livestock participated in the 39th Garfield County Young Farmer Premium Auction on Sept. 10, and each member was awarded a premium for the work on his or her project.
