NWQI meeting set for Wednesday

ENID, Okla. — Garfield County Conservation District, in conjunction with Natural Resources Conservation Service in Garfield County, will have an information outreach meeting 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Drummond Public Schools ag building.

This meeting is to provide information to landowners and producers within a portion of the Turkey Creek watershed on National Water Quality Initiative (NWQI). NWQI is a special incentive with potential cost share funds available through Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) targeted for new conservation practices that will improve water quality in Turkey Creek.
