Garber students attend MFE, ALD conferences

ENID, Okla. — Garber FFA members attended the Made for Excellence (MFE) conference and the Advanced Leadership Development (ALD) conference Dec. 1-2 in Tulsa.

These conferences were sponsored by Oklahoma FFA Association and provided members the chance to develop the refine skills that will create a lifetime of leadership.

The MFE conference is designed for eighth-, ninth- and 10th-grade FFA members. It is intended to guide these students in thinking about plans for the future, understanding themselves and considering choices ahead. The ALD conference is intended for 11th- and 12th-grade FFA members. ALD develops better leaders that build stronger FFA chapters and introduces members to the concept that leadership is influence, in a real-life and purposeful way.

Those attending MFE were Sierra Sumner, Halie Schovanec, Madison Deeds, Amanda Wedel, Baylee Mount, Cameron Cinnamon, Jessica Cinnamon, Kevin Severin, Layton Heitfeld, Garret Heinrich, Kaden Love and Tyler Hatch. Those attending ALD were Brooke Wessels, Emilee Hughes, Riley Pierce, Stacia Bradford, Daniel Parks, Kellan Hostetler, Hayden Betchan, Tyler Schnaithman, Jeremy Newton and Eric Killman.
