Garber students learn new skills at FFA Alumni Leadership Camp

ENID, Okla. — Garber FFA members recently attended the FFA Alumni Leadership Camp at Camp Tulakogee on Fort Gibson Lake near Wagoner.

More than 1,500 FFA members from across Oklahoma attended one of four sessions. Jarred Strate attended the first session July 1-3. Halie Schovanec, Madison Deeds, Amanda Weedle, Brooke Wessels, Emilee Hughes, Jessica Cinnamon, Tyler Hatch, Mason Monsees and Braden Alwert attended the second session July 4-6. Lakan Light, Brooklan Light, Daniel Parks, Kellan Hostetler, Braden Schovanec and Garret Heinrich attended the fourth session July 10-13.

Garber FFA officers Jarred Strate, Braden Schovanec, Kellan Hostetler, Daniel Parks and Garret Heinrich assisted in the games for children at the Garber Fourth of July celebration.

The games included the tractor pull, turtle races and wheat dig. Also oining in the activities were FFA members Lakan and Brooklan Light.

FFA members sold cheeseburgers, hamburgers, chips, pop and water.
