ENID, Okla. —
Suspected cattle thief Larry G. Smith Jr. surrendered to the Pontotoc County Sherriff’s Office in Ada last week.
Smith appeared with his lawyer to turn himself in. He is being held on $500,000 bond in connection with the theft of 99 cattle the first week of October in Allen.
Special Agents with Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry began searching for Smith on Oct. 31. Agents previously arrested David Wallace, of Atwood, in connection with this case. Wallace and Smith face charges for cattle theft and conspiracy.
