Parrish receives ag scholarship

— Tulsa State Fair Ringmas-ters has awarded a $1,500 scholarship to Robert Parrish, of Hunter.
Parrish is a senior at Kremlin-Hillsdale High School and a member of the Kremlin-Hillsdale FFA. His ag adviser is Mike Parrish. He is the son of Raymond and Peggy Parrish, of Hunter.
Cri-teria for selection includes involvement in extracurricular activities associated with high school, community participation, economic need, participation in the Tulsa State Fair Junior Livestock shows and a short essay outlining long-term educational goals. Of the 62 applicants, 29 $1,500 scholarships were awarded.
Tulsa State Fair Ring-masters is a volunteer group from the Tulsa area. The group dedicates its time to raising funds to support Oklahoma 4-H and FFA members through the junior livestock auction and to raise funds for the Junior Livestock Scholarship Fund.
